Shipping Information:
Most items can be shipped in a few days; some specialty or customized items and back ordered may take up to six to eight weeks. You will receive this information with order confirmation(s). This applies to shipping in the United States Only (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or outside of the United States will be calculated upon weighing item and a second invoice will be sent to the buyer for payment. The item will not be sent until shipping is paid. **Any item that does include a shipping charge will be adjusted for Alaska, Hawaii and countries outside of the US, and a second invoice will be applied.
Product will be lowered to the ground. Customer is required to move it to final location. Refusal of product for any reason (other than damage that has been properly noted on the delivery paperwork), requires full reimbursement of ALL shipping and handling fees by customer/buyer. These charges will remain on method of payment when ordered. Failure to follow delivery, notification and receiving procedures may result in additional charges from freight forwarder which will be reassigned to buyer. Resident at drop ship location should be fully educated of all requirements for receiving. Ship to address and contact phone number, Name, Complete Address including Apt or suite #, City, State, Zip, Contact Phone #, Company Name if appropriate and a Signature is required.

Please be aware of these terms before ordering. By ordering on this website, you are complying with these terms. All Aidan Gray orders are in compliance to conditions outlined in the Policy section. Because of the popularity of these items, sometimes they are on back order. If you order an item that is on back order, your order will be processed with the next shipment. Some large items are delivered by truck freight. Free Shipping on some items may be available to commercial addresses only, with a minimal shipping fee to residential addresses. There are no refunds or alterations except within these guidelines. Not reading this or complying does not change these guidelines. Shipments require inspection of all products by customer, before signing any paperwork of acceptance. Customer must keep the original box and packaging. If the item is damaged, pictures of the box and the item will be required. So please photograph the box prior to opening if damaged is suspected by an injured box. Failure to inspect is acceptance of product in full regardless of damage as is and will NOT be replaced at BeautifulHomeStore or Aidan Gray Home.
Please also be aware that these items are handmade and custom in design, and may have slight discolorations due to the custom nature. Many items require assembly. It is recommended to place any assembly items on a large cloth to protect coloring of items and your home. Many parts may have chalky coloring which is part of the beauty of these items. None of these items are available for refund, if damaged, exchange only is available. Due to the popularity of these items, sometimes back orders are inevitable. When an item is back ordered, the item will be delivered as soon as available. If the item is back ordered more than 90 days, you will be contacted by email used when ordering. The order will still proceed.
British Traditions Furniture: Fine furniture is handmade and takes time. Most pieces take 8-10 weeks; some less and some more. Each item is built from concept to finish product according to the various custom choices available. If the item shipping charge is not mentioned, then the shipping quote will be quoted upon address submitted with the order. When the item is close to completion, an update shipping invoice will be submitted to client for payment. Shipping to Commercial locations is always cheaper, so this option is always offered to clients.
Mirrors: With the purchase of Mirrors: Due to the delicate nature, if a mirror arrives damaged, we will replace it. It is not available for refund because of damage. If a replacement is not available, then a refund will be given. For a damaged item, the item must be sent back in its original packing for exchange at the buyer’s expense. A credit will be given once the item is received and replaced. For Trumeau mirrors: If a custom color is chosen, then the item will only be replaced with the return of the damaged items. A 50% restocking fee will be charged for custom color replacements even if damaged. Custom Mirrors are not refundable for any reason.
Only for Sofa, upholstered items by Taylor Scott: You will be contacted prior to order finalization and is only applicable in unusual ship to locations: There may be small surcharge involved for shipments to a residential address for delivery of Heavy Items ($50-$100). This charge may be charged to your payment of choice after the initial charge date as it may take time to assess the best delivery option to your specific locale. If this is the case, it will be noted. Our preferred carrier is UPS Ground and is delivered to the first available area or Garage. Other truck methods may be used if necessary. Shipping may take an estimated 10-14 additional business days for custom furniture orders with special finishes. Most items, however, take just a few days or up to 10 days. We cannot be held responsible for carrier delays in delivery.
Measuring Furniture
It is very important to take proper measurements to be certain that your furniture will be perfect for your room. To insure that upon delivery your piece will fit, it is also important to measure doorways, stairways, hallways, tight corners and other obstacles that may interfere in the pathway to where your new piece will be placed. We cannot be responsible for improper measurements.
Return Policy/Cancellation Policy
Since many of our furniture pieces are customized, these are non-returnable and non-refundable. Upon placing your custom order, you have 24 hours to cancel your order for a full refund or make changes. Your cancellation may incur credit card fees. After this 24 hour period, your furniture piece is in production and cannot be canceled or changed. Custom orders for pieces that are modified for your specific needs are final sales and cannot be canceled once payment has been made. Because all custom finishes are hand-applied and are interpreted differently by individual craftsmen, they will vary from piece to piece and are not considered defective but regarded as desirable. If an item is back-ordered, you will be notified. If an item is back-ordered, but has been ordered, cancellation is not accepted. If an exception is made, a re-stocking fee may be charged.
If you have a return, you must contact Beautiful Home Store by email or phone to request Return Authorization Instructions. Each case is different. Please DO NOT simply arrange to have the item sent back on your own. You will not be refunded or receive credit if you do this. You will be notified by EMAIL as per your return instructions to be clear. If a return is authorized, you will be given a method of return. This return is for standard ground only. If return is sent any other method then the returner will be responsible for the difference. The extra amount spent on shipping will be deducted from refund. This is applicable for returns of any kind.
Taxes: Only Louisiana purchasers will be required to pay sales taxes. Louisiana purchasers will be invoiced separately through a local retail outlet. You will be contacted if this is the case.
Damage Policy
Our furniture is shipped via UPS or Freight Carrier. We do the best to ensure that your furniture or mirror will arrive safely. When receiving your furniture, please inspect your items prior to the driver's departure. You must note the damage on the bill of lading prior to signing it. If you sign the bill of lading without inspecting the merchandise, you are accepting the delivery and signing that it is being received in good condition. If you accept damaged merchandise without noting the damage on the bill of lading, it is your responsibility to file claims with the carrier and have items returned for repair or replacement. Please keep all packaging and provide pictures of the damage. If your piece shows major damage, you can elect to refuse the delivery. If delivery is refused, note the damage on the bill of lading. Please call our customer service immediately to report damages. We cannot be held responsible for damages that are not noted on the bill of lading.

All furniture is manufactured to exacting standards under constant quality control inspections. Changes in atmospheric conditions can affect wood products. Extreme changes in humidity may cause warping, cracks and splits. Uneven surfaces can cause doors to become out of square and sag.
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies: Most items (except custom and/or personalized) are refundable. Some items will require a restocking fee. Store credit, exchanges may be offered. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours to be accepted.
